We are MMA (mixed martial arts) professionals, enthusiasts, who have been growing this sport in Lithuania for more than 20 years. We believe that fights without rules here still have a lot of untapped potential, that’s why we decided to enter a new stage – to organize international, top-level tournaments “Blade Fights” and create all the conditions so that Lithuanian athletes could constantly improve and compete with the most famous fighters from all over the world.

After the first Blade Fights International Mixed Martial Arts Tournament, we’re looking forward to the next one, which will take place on 27 May at Klaipėda’s Švyturys arena. Once again you will have fierce fights at the Blade Fights MMA-77kg qualifier for the Grand Prix Cup. Fighters from all over the world will be waiting for you.

The event will also have a show element, with spectacular music performances during the breaks, and the climax of the evening will be the BBF (Before the Biggest Fight), a spectacular performance prepared especially for the event.

The best known MMA organisations:

UFC, United States of America. Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, owned by Zuffa, LLC. MMA fights take place in an octagonal cage. It is the richest Mixed Martial Arts organisation of all time, valued today at around 10 billion US dollars.

ONE FC, Singapore. Asia’s most famous MMA organisation. MMA fights are usually held in a round cage, sometimes in an MMA ring, with limited Vale Tudo rules. In addition to MMA fights, it organises all types of wrestling without kimono: kickboxing, Muay Thai with small gloves and grappling.

BELLATOR, United States of America. Based in Hollywood, California, owned by entertainment giant ViacomCBS. MMA fights take place in an octagonal cage.

PFL (Professional Fighters League), United States of America. MMA fights take place in an octagonal cage. This organisation has relaxed the normal MMA rules established by the UFC and applies them to its fights.

RIZIN, Japan.  It conducts MMA, kickboxing, boxing fights in the MMA ring. MMA fighting in the ring follows the slightly restricted rules of Vale Tudo.

The legendary PRIDE FC, the best MMA organisation of all time, was also founded in Japan, and MMA fights took place only in the MMA ring, with limited Vale Tudo rules.

The best known European organisations:

KSW, Poland. One of the most powerful organisations in Europe and well known worldwide. MMA fights take place in an octagonal cage. The usual MMA rules are followed.

ARES FIGHTS, France. Owned by the French media giant Vivendi, based in Paris. MMA fights take place in an octagonal cage. Normal MMA rules apply.

OCTAGON, Czech Republic. MMA fights take place in an octagonal cage. Normal MMA rules apply.

BRAVE, Germany. MMA fights take place in an octagonal cage. Normal MMA rules apply.

The ES, Babilon, Cage Wariors and other organisations are also quite well known.
