The second international BLADE FIGHTS Mixed Martial Arts tournament is just around the corner on May 27th!
Join us at Klaipėda’s “Švyturio” Arena, where 12 professional fighters from Lithuania, Brazil, Azerbaijan, Spain, France, England, Portugal, and more will ignite your excitement in the BLADE FIGHTS MMA-77kg selection for the GRAND PRIX CUP.
In the highly anticipated MMA battle in the 66 kg weight category, Brazilian fighter Carlos Eduardo de Oliveira will face off against Azerbaijan representative Aqsin Babayev. The winner of this thrilling showdown will then compete for the MMA BLADE FIGHTS 66kg World Championship title against Lithuania’s own Žygimantas Ramaška, the first tournament Grand Prix winner.
Prepare for epic Super Fights in the 66 kg weight category, featuring Walter Christopher Thierry from France against local talent Martynas Danys, Kaunas representative Deividas Danyla against Miguel Angelo Trindade Temporario from Portugal, and other renowned fighters from around the world.

On February 4, 2023, the first international BLADE FIGHTS Mixed Martial Arts tournament took place. The event was organized by the Blade Fights association in collaboration with ELITAZ Creative House, with live broadcasting on the local platform BTV and the global sports and entertainment platform FITE.tv.
The first bout featured Brazilian fighter Ariston Barbarosa de Franca against Azerbaijani fighter Aksin Alim Oglu Babayew. After a tough fight, Ariston Franca emerged victorious. The second fight of the evening showcased Polish fighter Sebastian Romanowski against Brazilian fighter Gustavo Rios Erak. After three intense rounds, Gustavo Rios Erak came out on top. The third bout featured Lithuania’s fighter Žygimantas Ramaška, against Brazilian Carlos Eduardo de Oliveira. In the second round, Žygimantas knocked out his opponent and claimed victory.
The fourth fight witnessed Thai fighter Pirun Wangpol-Komphikart (Kom) against Croatian fighter Teo Mikelić. Pirun Wangpol-Komphikart (Kom) won by knocking out his opponent in the first round. The fifth fight showcased Brazilian fighter Kostadin Vasilev against Moldovan fighter Mihail Sirbu. After three intense rounds, Mihail Sirbu emerged as the winner.
In the sixth fight, Lithuania’s representative Deividas Danyla faced off against British fighter Panicos Yusuf. Within half a minute, Deividas Danyla knocked out his opponent. The seventh fight was a SUPER fight between Lithuanian Mindaugas Veržbickas and Abner Lloveras from Spain. In the third round, Abner Lioveras surrendered, and our country’s fighter, Mindaugas Veržbickas, claimed the victory.
In the final battle, Žygimantas Ramaška faced off against Brazilian Gustavo Rios Erak. Žygimantas Ramaška emerged as the finalist of the BLADE FIGHTS Grand Prix Cup, defeating his opponent with a technical knockout.
The distinguished event received attention from various federations: representatives from Lithuanian Grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Lithuanian Muay Thai, Lithuanian MMA, and Lithuanian Taekwondo federations were seen on the red carpet, celebrating the tournament. The event was hosted by world-renowned presenter Aidan Power, who has recently worked with one of the biggest mixed martial arts organizations in the world, Bellator. The matches were commentated by sports commentator and journalist Ronald McIntosh, who has extensive experience with BBC, ITV, Channel 4, BT Sport, and other channels.
Furthermore, the event stood out with its impressive musical show: performances by various music artists took place during the breaks between fights, and the highlight of the evening was a specially prepared performance by the group “G&G Sindikatas“.
